What is Counselling?

NCS;fife offers each individual a safe and comfortable place in which to express their worries, cares and feelings with a counsellor who will take time to listen.

A counsellor will offer a regular weekly appointment lasting approximately one hour, where individuals can ponder physical, relational, emotional, or spiritual aspects of their life.

A counsellor will not provide answers but will focus on listening to feelings, thoughts and desires in the hope that this will help you to make sense of your life, enable you to find energy to cope, and possibly bring about change in your life.

All counselling is confidential and anything can be discussed with a counsellor no matter how big or small it may seem. A counsellor will treat you and anything you say with respect.

NCS:fife do not charge for counselling but are pleased to accept donations to help cover running costs.
